Behind the formidable executive leadership of Mr. Governor, Babajide Olushola Sanwo-Olu, and his Honourable Commissioner for Health Professor Akin Abayomi, our efforts are propelled by the guidance and support of the various teams at the Ministry of Health, Health Services Commission, and the Primary Health Care Board. These teams, led respectively by Dr. Olusegun Ogboye, the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Health, Dr. Benjamin Olumuyiwa Eniaiyewun, the Permanent Secretary Health Services Commission, and Dr. Mustapha, the Permanent Secretary Primary Health Care Board, one way or another ensure that our services continue to align with international best practices.
Our team at LASAEC is led by Dr. Adeolu Arogundade, the current Medical Director. Building on the success of the past Medical Directors (Dr. Olawale Adegbite and Dr. Fatai Ishola), the team continues to focus on how to efficiently translate the aspirations and agenda of the Lagos State government. This agenda which includes bringing to the barest minimum possible, the number of deaths and disabilities resulting from injuries in the State is expected to allow the free pursuit of happiness by Lagosians and the improvement of productivity in the State.
